About The Band

We are a cover band playing popular rock music from the 60's through today. To appeal to audiences of all ages, we "mix it up" and focus on selections that are upbeat & danceable. Our motivation continues to be having fun playing music that excites people and gets them involved, be it dancing or joining us on stage for a cowbell solo!

We also believe you can't be a first rate band without first rate production. With a top notch sound reinforcement, and a complete lighting solution, we can handle anything from a private party to a large outdoor festival or corporate event.

Sound System
A lot of bands out there have a hodgepodge of mismatched gear that's often the accumulated stuff each band member has brought into the band. Side note: This seems to be the case with quite a few “sound companies”, as well. The group itself may be great, but what matters is what it sounds like coming through the speakers and what it looks like on stage. For this, you need a well thought out system made up of quality components.

Another consideration is one tool may not be the perfect match for every job. We are fortunate to have two full PA systems at our disposal .

SYSTEM #1

This is a smaller system that can be carried up stairs and often is up and running in under 45 minutes from the time we arrive. The components were selected with efficiency and flexibility in mind for situations like: smaller venues, difficult locations, time constraints, places shy on power, and for running off a portable generator (which we also have available). Make no mistake, this rig is no underachiever. The Electro-Voice Qrx mains and Yorkville Elite series sub-woofers complete the tri-amped speaker system. For a great mix, we use an Allen & Heath Mixwizard 16:2 DX, and Phillip of course. The bottom line is this system sounds fantastic and is appropriate for many of our shows.

SYSTEM #2

For larger venues, Phillip flexes his muscles and brings out his big rig. This system features up to 20,000 watts to drive the Front Of House. The speakers are all Electro-Voice with QRX mains and X-line sub-woofers. There are also a few fancy tricks, like a DELL PC in the rack that allows use of a software controlled processing. Two different Allen & Heath mixers are available for up to 40 input channels.
Lighting

For visual impact we have a complete DMX lighting solution controlled by Show Xpress, a computer controlled software based light show program.
